The writing nook, or indeed, the reading nook. That space where you go to and feel comfortable and inspired to read or write, or both.
I hear that some people favour, a public space to write, a cafe, or a park setting, maybe a library, or on public transport. Others may prefer a more formal setting, a desk at a window with a view, or an office. Others again, like myself, find working on a laptop, sat on my knee, surrounded by family goings-on, enriches my soul and inspires me. Maybe, like me, with their dog lying alongside waiting for me to read out loud my manuscript to them, and falling asleep!
